Linebacker Aaron Brule transferred from Mississippi State and joined the Spartans in January 2022. In 2021, he posted 52 tackles, starting eight games in playing all 12 regular-season games, and added 7.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and three QB hurries. Aaron has tallied 142 career tackles in four seasons, playing 40 career games, making 19 starts, adding 18 tackles for loss, 8 sacks with three pass break-ups, and two fumble recoveries. He was named to the 2020 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll as a psychology major.
